What are the minimum system requirements?
You will need a computer running Windows, a compatible CD-R or CD-RW burner, and a properly installed set of ASPI drivers. ASPI drivers are included as part of the  setup program.

What audio file formats does SongsToCD support?
SongsToCD supports playback of virtually all formats of WAV and MP3 files. It will burn 44.1, 16bit, stereo WAV files and MPEG 1,2, and 3 compliant files.

What CD Burners is SongsToCD compatible with?

Can I use SongsToCD to edit audio files on my computer?
No. SongsToCD will allow you to rename these files only. You'll no doubt find this feature useful to revise the name of some of the deliberately mis-named source material that you may have on your computer.

Can SongsToCD "burn" audio files to re-writable media? Will they play in my player?
Yes to the first question and maybe to the second. SongsToCD will create CD-Audio disks on either CD-R or CD-RW media but many CD players are not capable of playing back the information when it is stored on CD-RW. We suggest that you experiment with your specific CD players.

What are the limitations of my evaluation copy of SongsToCD?
The evaluation version of SongsToCD will cease to function thirty days after being first installed. Re-installing the same version of the evaluation version will NOT reenable the program's functionality.

Can I burn more than audio CDs with SongsToCD?
Yes. SongsToCD will also create MP3 Data CDs that will play in specially designed MP3 players.

Is SongsToCD difficult to use?

I don't know where all of my audio files are stored on my computer. How does SongsToCD find them?
SongsToCD will search your entire computer for audio files. It also offers an option  to just look in a particular set of folders. All audio files are displayed in a previewable list for your selection.

Does SongsToCD "rip" CD Audio tracks to MP3 files?
Yes. SongsToCD will rip audio tracks into WAV file format or into one of three different MP3 bitrates (96Kbps, 128Kbps, 192Kbps).
